I build platform services that other engineering teams depend on. My work lives at the intersection of backend systems, security, and operational reliability the parts of software that users never see but always notice when they break.
At Programming Hero, I own production maintenance of 5 services: PH Mailer (email platform), SkillMapper (assessment platform), Bootcamp (LMS), JobPortal (recruitment platform), and FTP server. I manage UAT environments and deployment pipelines with 24/7 monitoring and alerting. I've coordinated implementation and reviewed work for mid-level engineers within my scope.
I build shared services that multiple teams consume: email, payments, authentication because shared infrastructure that only works for one team isn't infrastructure. My center of gravity is backend and platform work in Go and TypeScript, with production posture: every system gets structured logging, health checks, and alerting from day one. Security and tenancy are decided early, not bolted on. Every case study on this site explains the trade-offs I accepted and what I'd do differently.
I take features from requirements through architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring. I'm comfortable full-stack when the product needs it, and I work well with US and European time zones. Currently open to mid-level and senior software engineering roles, remote-first.
Production experience organized by problem domain.
Multi-tenant auth platforms, OIDC, MFA, and defense-in-depth security
Centralized email delivery, queue processing, and campaign automation
Multi-gateway abstraction, webhook processing, and transaction reliability
Go is a core strength: concurrency, memory model, standard library. Plus REST API design and background workers.
Primary: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis. Familiar with ClickHouse, Firebase, MySQL.
Containerization, CI/CD, monitoring, and deployment pipelines
Open to mid-level and senior software engineering roles. Remote · comfortable collaborating across US and European time zones.
